It was said that it was copied from Comic Epic Promo.The Baahubali unit vehemently denied copying allegations. They said that the promo template was bought by them from Adobe Company. Adobe After Effects software has this template promo, which can be bought by anyone. So the team bought it and used it as it fits to their theme. The team has denied any copycat charges.
